Spiderman in New York

The new film "Spiderman", starring the popular superhero by Marvel, the comic factory, reaches the large screen today. Spiderman, created in 1962 by the script writer Stan Lee and the illustrator Steve Ditko, has starred over the years many film and television productions, but without generating such expectation as this premiere has obtained.

For over a decade, the production of the film has suffered many vissitudes and problems for different reasons: legal rights, change of director and even a delay in the premiere, as the original trailer and poster included the Twin Towers in New York so that had to be redone.

On Mallorca, the film will be seen not only in Spanish but also in Catalan in the programme of promotion of cinema en Catalan, by the Direcció General de Política Lingüística del Govern de les Illes Balears.
