"Summer Serenades" at Cala Rajada

The Gardens of the Bartomeu March Foundation, in the Torre Cega in Cala Rajada, will be the scene in July for the XV edition of the cycle of concerts "Serenates d'estiu". The event is organised by Joventuts Musicals from Capdepera --entity presided by Berta Liesegang-- and the artistic direction is by Pere Estelrich, of ARTS Culture Services.

As in other editions the programme is characterised by the intention to show in the four evenings a wide range of different styles and ways of understanding music. In Cala Rajada, those attending, will find concerts in a traditional style combined with others of a heterodox format, always with the customary quality.

PROGRAMME:

July 4.- Ainoha Arteta (soprano)

July 11.- Tuba Mirum, brass band with the trumpet player John Wallace.

July 18.- Cantabile (vocal quartet)

July 25.- Concerto Grosso Berlin (ancient music)

The entrance tickets can be acquired in advance at the Capdepera Tourist Information Office, telephone 971 56 30 33 or at the entrance one hour before.
