Four recitals and an exhibition make up the poster for the
Festival
Chopin 2002 that will present once more some of the best present day
pianists at the
Cartoixa
de Valldemossa.
"Pictorial series about the twenty four preludes by Frédéric
Chopin" is the name of the exhibition by the British artist
James
Lambourne, linked to Valldemossa since 1962. This will open on August
2 at the Sala Capitular and can be visited throughout the month of August
until the 30th, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sundays from 7 p.m. to 10
p.m.
The piano recitals will take place on the four Sundays of August, at
10 p.m. in the Cloister of the Cartoixa. The programme is:
