Festival Isladencanta 2002

The Festival Isladencanta will be held this year on July 19, 20 and 21 at the Es Garroverar in Magaluf. The two previous editions of the festival took place in Esporles, in 2000 called Hibritart Festival and in 2001 with the current name: Festival Isladencanta. The Festival, organised by Isladencanta Records, is sponsored by the Calvià Town Council, Telefonica, Coca Cola and San Miguel with collaboration from several firms and mass media.

In the musical area there will be some thirty groups, including Oasis, Luke Slater Live, The Charlatans, Mercury Rev and The soundtrack of our lives. Isladencanta 2002 will feature other activities that will take place in the "Vision Marquee and electrocafé" dedicated to audio-visual and artistic productions. There will also be the "Pop Suite Marquee" with music by well known DJ's, the "ADSL Marquee" with internet connection, a relaxing space and a camping services.

Tickets will be available at the entrance of Es Garrover and in advance at the Calvià Town Council, at the shops Tipo, Pasatiempos, Runaway and Xocolat in Palma, Baba Discos in Inca and Manacor, and on the Internet at BBVAticket.
