The festive calendar on Mallorca continues its course and in the middle
of the summer "Sant Jaume" arrives, a festivity that is celebrated in Alcúdia,
Algaida, Calvià, Santanyí, Sa Pobla, Muro...
Alcúdia will celebrate the festivity of their patron saint
with a complete programme of events which excels for its musical choice,
with concerts by Presuntos Implicados (Saturday 20); Quico el Cèlio,
El Muti i El Noi de Ferreries and Pla Forana (Sunday 21); Manu Tenorio
and Alabama (Monday 22); the Municipal Band (Tuesday 23); and Sarau Alcudienc
(Friday 26); amongst others.
The fiestas for Sant Jaume in Algaida began on July 11
but the most awaited activity, the dance by the Cossiers, will be held
on the 24th and the 25th (

Sant Jaume is the patron saint of Calvià and the activities
organised for this celebration are very important. The
programme
of activities, available in RTF format, will continue until Saturday
27.
Santanyí also celebrates fiestas for Sant Jaume. This
year the programme will last until Friday 26, according to this
article.
In Sa Pobla the fiestas for Sant Jaume are held together
with the ones for Santa Margalida. The
programme
of activities will end on July 25, the day the Sant Jaume.
Muro organises several activities for Sant Jaume, although the
patron saint festivity of the town celebrated more intensively is in June,
on Sant Joan. Finally, in Manacor, coinciding with Sant Jaume, there
is an
Artisan
and artistic fair.
