International Festival of Deià

On Saturday, July 20, the summer cycle of concerts of the XXIV International Festival of Deià will begin, following the spring cycle.

The summer 2002 cycle of concerts includes twelve performances that will be held until October 5 in Son Marroig except one that will be held in the church of Deià.

The prestigious International Festival of Deià was started in 1978 by Patrick Meadows. Since then it has been held annually, with the participation of numerous performers, groups and composers, from both Mallorca and throughout the world.

All the concerts begin at 8.30 p.m. and the price of the entrance tickets is 20 € (general), 15 € (associates) and 10 € (students).
