Summer Music Programme in Ses Salines

Concerts by the Music Band of Ses Salines and "III Festival de Jazz a la Fresca".

The Musical Cultural Association of Ses Salines, organisation that manages the local Music Band and Music School, has programmed together with the Town Council, the Summer Cycle of Concerts by the Music Band of Ses Salines, to be held in the Plaça Sant Bartomeu in Ses Salines and in the Port of Colònia de Sant Jordi. The dates are: July 21 in the port of the Colònia de Sant Jordi; August 4, again in the port of the Colònia de Sant Jordi, within the patron saint festivities; August 21 in the plaza Sant Bartomeu of Ses Salines, within the "Festes de Sant Bartomeu"; and finally on September 1, in the port of the Colònia de Sant Jordi. All the concerts will begin at 8 p.m.

More over, the Musical Cultural Association of Ses Salines has organised the third "Festival de Jazz a la Fresca". The programme of the jazz festival includes three concerts to be held in August. The first one, on August 2, in the Plaza Pou d'en Verdera in the Colònia de Sant Jordi, by the group Perikas Jazz Reunion Mini Big Band. The second one, on August 19, in the patio of Ca ses monges de Ses Salines, by S'Arrual Jazz Mort. And the final concert will be held at the same place on August 30, featuring the performance by Wonderbrass. The three concerts will begin at 11 p.m.
