The GOB edits and distributes a publication about the problems of
the coastline
The GOB has published its report "La Mar, la gran oblidada" in
which they go over the different problems suffered by the coast line. In
the report they approach some of the most important problems and threats
to the conservation of natural coast line systems, such as the construction
of marinas and other infrastructure on the coast line, the destruction
of dune systems and the artificial regeneration of beaches, excess fishing,
massive navigation and uncontrolled anchoring in environmentally fragile
areas, throwing of effluents and contamination of waters, the introduction
of species and the pisciculture projects.
