Classic boat regatta in Palma

From August 19 to 25 in 2002, in the bay of Palma, the XVIII Trofeo Almirante Conde de Barcelona and the IV Copa S.A.R. Don Juan de Borbón will be held. The regatta is organised by the Fundación Hispania de Barcos de Época, with technical direction by the Escuela Nacional de Vela Calanova of the Balearic Government and collaboration by the International Classic Yacht Association (ICYA).

The boats will compete in two categories according to their year of construction. "Época", for those launched before December 31, 1949, and "Clásicos", for those launched between January 1, 1950 and December 31, 1994.
