The Cossiers from Montuïri are ready to dance

The Cossiers and the devil, once again, will be the centre of attention for the festivities of Sant Bartomeu that are taking place these days in Montuïri. As usually the Cossiers will give three performances: on August 15, 23 and 24. The first one, on the 15th, will be at 7 p.m. This day the Cossiers do not wear the traditional costume. The second and the third performance, with the traditional clothes, will be on Friday 23 at 7 p.m. and on Saturday 24 at 10 a.m.

The programme of the "Festes de Sant Bartomeu" in Montuïri, available in Word format, includes activities until August 25: exhibitions, entertainment, sports, concerts, dances... Worth mentioning is the open air supper with music by Tina Servera and Jaume Sureda on Thursday 22; the dance with music by Tramuntana, Xicarandana, Alabama and Mal Vici, on Friday 23, and the dance with music by Casablanca, Geminis, Tomeu Penya and Fet a Mà on Saturday 24.
