The group Lincoln will present their latest record "Mettle"
The fifth edition of the "Nits Angleses al Lisboa", cycle organised
by Tomeu Gomila and dedicated to promoting new British artists from the
singer-songwriter movement, will be held on September 12 and 13, as from
10 p.m., at the Café Lisboa in calle Sant Magí in Palma.
The invited group is
Lincoln
from North London, led by Alex Gordon. Entrance: 8 €.
The
first
edition of the "Nits Angleses", held in November 2001, had the participation
of Michael Weston King, leader of the band
The
Good Sons, who offered an example of the best of the 60s folk music
together with the pianist and singer
Lou
Dalgleish; the
second
edition, celebrated in February 2002, included the performance by the
group
Songdog, led by Lyndon Morgans;
the
third
edition, held in April, featured a concert by
Mark
Nevin, who presented his second solo record "The Mighty Dove",
and in the
fourth
edition, held in June,
The Dear
Janes presented their latest record "Skirt".
