The people from Bunyola are celebrating as from September 13 their
patron saint festivities for Sant Mateu. The festive events will continue
until September 22, with a wide programme of activities featuring exhibitions,
concerts, sports, children's games and workshops, theatre...
Amongst other interesting activities, worth stressing is the rock night
for Friday 20 with music by
Mal Vici,
Poques Feines,
Menaix
a Trua and
Fora
des Sembrat; and the Exhibition of Mallorcan Dances by the
Escola
de Ball de Bunyola, that will take place in Sa Plaça on Saturday
21, Saint Matthew's day, at 10.30 p.m., followed by a popular dance with
Lolos Band, Oasis and Horris Kamoi.
The fiestas will end on Sunday 22, and this last day will include a
homage to the old people of the village, a horse-jumping competition in
Son Molina, football, human castles at noon.... and, closing the night,
