On Saturday, November 2, the play "Desbarats" by
Llorenç
Villalonga, one of the most outstanding Catalan contemporary playwrights,
will premiere.
The "Desbarats", written between 1940 and 1960, are considered to be
the most original and well written part of his dramatic texts. They
are short plays, friendly parodies of certain behaviour of the Mallorcan
aristocracy that Villalonga knew so well.
The play, adapted by Guillem Frontera, directed by Pere Noguera with
stage production by Rafel Lladó, is a production of the
Teatre
Principal de Palma foundation, the
Auditori
d'Alcúdia and
Sa Màniga.
It can be seen in Alcudia on Saturday and the following day, Sunday 3;
afterwards at Sa Màniga (Saturday, November 9) and finally in the
Sala Mozart of the
Auditorium de
Palma (from November 21 to December 1).
