Gathering of hikers in the Natural Park of Llevant

The Grup Excursionista de Mallorca (GEM), Raig d'Artanencs, Grup Tramuntanya (Manacor) and the Artà Town Council are the organisers of the XXVI edition of the "Aplec excursionista dels Països Catalans" that this year will be held from October 31 to November 3 in the mountains of Llevant.

The hikers will camp around the Quarter de Betlem (Artà) and will go on trips on foot, by bike and by bus to different places within the area of Llevant and some other places on the island. They will go to Talaia Morella, Albarca, es Verger, Artà, Betlem, Ferrutx, el Caló, Son Serra de Marina, Castell de Santueri and Piug de Sant Salvador, Torrent de na Borges...

The days will be complemented with cultural and entertainment activities, such as demonstrations of traditional tasks, traditional dances and concerts.

The organisers expect over 300 participants from Valencia, Barcelona, Andorra, Catalunya Nord and the Balearic Islands.
