A concert by the vocal and instrument group
Moscow
Art Trio (Russia) on Tuesday, October 8, will start the 'Ciclo Músicas
del Mundo' that is held every year in the old building of the Gran Hotel
in the Plaza Weyler in Palma. A total of six performances form part of
the new proposal by the Music Service of the Caixa Foundation.
This October, two female groups will perform: the Italian vocal
group
Sanacore (Friday 18)
and the Moroccan group, Roudaniât of female song and dance from Taroudannt
(Thursday 31).
In November there will be a performance by the group comprised of the
Libanese singer,
Marwan Abado, who
plays the Arab laud, and the Austrian percussionist,
Peter
Rosmanith (Tuesday 12); and a Parisian cabaret show called
"Avec
le Temps" with Paloma Berganza, Horacio Icasto, Victor Merlo and Noah
Shaye (Friday 22).
The cycle will end in December with the Afghanistan music group comprised
of Madjid Panchiri, Mehri Maftoun, Mashine and Salam Logari (Tuesday 3).
All the performances start at 8 p.m. The tickets cost 3 euros
and can be acquired until three hours before each concert via the ServiCaixa,
or as from two hours before at the Fundación "la Caixa".
