The only town council that has no web is Andratx
Recently a new town council has joined the network. This is the page
of the town council of Vilafranca de Bonany:
www.vilafrancaterrabona.com.
And they are not the only ones who move on Internet. These days practically
all the town councils of Mallorca have web presence. However, only those
of
Alcúdia,
Artà,
Calvià,
Felanitx,
Manacor,
Palma,
and now
Vilafranca, offer
regular updates.
Campos has created its portal
on Internet, the same as
Capdepera,
Inca,
Llucmajor,
Porreres,
Santa
Margalida and
Sóller,
but only update their information sporadically. .
Other town councils that have opened their own pages on Internet are
Algaida,
Esporles,
Marratxí,
Montuïri,
Sant
Llorenç,
Ses Salines
and
Valldemossa. Those pages
are not updated.
The rest of the town councils have very simple pages, created with the
support of the
Consorci d'Informàtica
Local based on a common format, and are not usually changed ever, except
the web of the Town Council of
Pollença,
where a monthly diary can be found, or the webs of
Santa
Eugènia and
Son Servera
that include some news now and again. We must point out that the Consorci
has set up a
pilot portal that
intends to promote the reactivation of these pages.
The Town Council of Andratx is an exception: it does not belong to the
Consorci d'Informàtica Local and has not created its own page either.
The coincidence of these facts makes it the only town council of the 53
existing one that does not have a web page, although it does have its domain
(andratx.net) and uses it to communicate by e-mail.
The town council web pages of Mallorca can be accessed via the categories
Town
Councils of Mallorca and
Town
Council of Palma of the MallorcaWeb directory.
