The Casal de Cultura Can Gelabert in Binissalem will hold during November
and December a programme of activities connected to the Maghreb, organised
by
Tres. Serveis Culturals.
According to the organisers, the cycle intends to approach us to our
neighbours from the South, to whom we are connected by geography, history,
music, folk lore and gastronomy, with a common denominator, the Mediterranean.

"Painting with henna" organised by the Association of Moroccan immigrants
of the Balearics (AIMB).
"Magreb cooking" by Elsa Dengra, specialist in Moroccan gastronomy.

CONFERENCE AND FILM
"Lalia", by Silvia Munt.
"El Sahara hoy", by Oulad Moussa del Frente Polisario.
Thursday December 5 at 8 p.m.
CONFERENCE AND PROJECTION OF SLIDES
"Immigration: a challenge" by Mustafa Boul Harrak, general secretary
of AIMB
"Images of North Africa", with commentaries by Pep Oliver about his
travels.
