Exhibitions at the Casal Solleric

The Casal Solleric in Palma will house four new exhibitions

The main floor (first) at the Casal Solleric is housing until February 2, 2003, the exhibition "Love and Death in the Romanticism". The exhibition, sponsored by the Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte and the CAM, is an approachment of comprehension of the romanticism via the image of love and death represented by the artists of the era with different pieces, proceeding from the stock at the Museo Romántico in Madrid, from paintings, sculpture, graphic and decorative arts, weapons, books, magazines, etc.

At the same time, the mezzanine floor at the Casal Solleric, is holding until January 19, the exhibition called "Pep Guerrero. Works 1959-2000". The exhibition, sponsored by the CAM, and commissioned by Neus Cortès, presents a selection of pictures and all kinds of objects painted since 1995 until now, by the Mallorcan artist Pep Guerrero.

As is traditional at this time of the year, the ground floor of the Casal Solleric, is presenting until January 19, 2003, the paintings acquired by the Palma Town Council during the year.

As far as the Espai Quatre, hall situated in the basement of the Solleric, it hosts until January 19, 2003, the exhibition "Casi levitando" by Sebastian Kusenberg.
