Popular dance for Sant Sebastià in Palma
There will be performances in the squares of Espanya, Cort, Santa Eulàlia, Sant Francesc, Joan Carles I, Major, Salvador Coll and Artesania

On Sunday, January 19, at 7 p.m., the popular dance for Sant Sebastià will start in the Plaça Santa Eulàlia in Palma with the bonfire lighting by the mayor of Palma, Joan Fageda, and the performances by the Xeremiers de Palma and the Castellers de Mallorca. Afterwards, as from 9 p.m., there will be performances by the folk bands Ximbomba Atòmica, Música Nostra, Balls i Tonades de Mallorca, Quart Creixent and Tracalada.

The concerts in the other squares of the city will begin at 10 p.m. In Cort there will be performances by El Frenillo de Gauguin, La Salseta del Poble Sec and Dyango. In Santa Eulàlia: Perikas Jazz Reunion, Víctor Uris, Ola Brunkert Trio and Sheila Cartwright with Daniel Roth Quartet and Molly Duncan. In Sant Francesc: Lolita, Los Chunguitos and Ballet La Carmeta. In Joan Carles I: Elliot Murphy, Gigolo Aunts, Stormy Mondays and Valendas. In Major: Amaral, Javier Urrutia and Los Secretos. In Salvador Coll there will be the winners of the Palma So 2002 festival: Dr. Hum, Ke Reggae Ska, Madelfunk and D-Let. And in the square of Artesania there will be Catalan rock by Els Pets, Família López and Fora des Sembrat.
