After the
exhibition
dedicated to the Mallorcan Antoni Gelabert, the biggest hall of the
Sa Nostra Cultural Centre in Palma is holding until April 16 the exhibition
"Exploracions mútues", a selection of some hundred works carried
out by the sculptor, painter and poet Hans Arp (Strasbourg, 1886 - Basel,
1966) and the artist Sophie Taeuber-Arp (Davos, 1889 - Zurich, 1943). The
couple met each other in 1915 in an exhibition by Hans Arp in the Galerie
Tanner in Zurich. After their meeting they began several works together
and in 1922 they married in Pura. There is information about the two artists
on the web of the
Arp Foundation.
More over, the "Paper" hall of the Sa Nostra Cultural Centre is housing
until March 15 the exhibition of the photographs presented to the "17a
Marató Fotogràfica de Palma" carried out in January, within
the
Festas
de Sant Sebastià.
