42 webs have registered in the
Web
Prize 2003, organised by BalearWeb. The long list of

This new edition of the Prize (the fourth) has obtained 50% more participation
that the one held last year.
Following the announced calendar, from April 28 to May 11 there will
be an
online
poll on MallorcaWeb, MenorcaWeb, EivissaWeb and FormenteraWeb, so that
the interested internauts may vote for the best web for 2003. The results
of the poll will be born in mind by the jury, but will not be vinculating.

Chat room, there will be a virtual meeting with all the participants
in the contest.
This year the Premi Web has been sponsored by the
Direcció
General de Política Lingüística of the Conselleria
d'Educació i Cultura of the Balearic Government and different from
last year, there will be three prizes: one first prize consisting of 1,200
euros and the purchase of a personal domain for the winning web, a second
prize of 600 euros and a third prize of 300 euros.
The jury that will decide the winner of the "Premi Web 2003" will be
comprised of authors of the webs that were awarded in the previous editions,
a representative of the Direcció General de Política Lingüística
and two people designated by BalearWeb. The winners of the "Premi Web 2003"
will be announced on Friday, May 16, 2003, and the same day, at 9 p.m.
the fiesta of the "Premi Web 2003" will be held in the headquarters of
BalearWeb.
