Catalina Cirer will be the mayor of the city of Palma as the Partido
Popular won the absolute majority with 15 councillors. Catalina Cirer will
replace Joan Fageda of the Partido Popular, who has been the mayor of Palma
also with absolute majority for the three previous legislatures. The other
parties that have obtained representation are the PSIB-PSOE, who go from
8 to 9 councillors, Esquerra Unida-Els Verds, who go from 2 to 3 councillors
and PSM - Entesa Nacionalista, who go from 3 to 2 councillors. Unió
Mallorquina who had one councillor no longer has representation in the
Palma Town Hall.
