The Bishop of Mallorca dies

According to the recent news by COPE, the bishop of Mallorca, Teodor Úbeda, has died today, at 12:30 h, in the Clínica Rotger in Palma from
complications following lung surgery.

Teodor Úbeda Gramage (Ontinyent, 1931) was ordained as priest in Valencia in 1955, and appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Eivissa in 1970. In 1972 he became apostolic administrator of Mallorca and in 1973 he was elevated to the episcopacy, remaining as bishop of Mallorca until his death.
