Ciberjove.com: youth drug addiction prevention and treatment

The Fundació Projecte Jove, committed to youth drug addiction prevention and treatment, will present on Saturday, June 7, at 11 p.m., a new project: ciberjove.com, aimed at youth between 14 and 21, related directly or indirectly with the world of drugs.

The project Ciberjove will have two interactive platforms based on the new information technologies: one is the web page www.ciberjove.com with information and services to promote youth participation and healthy night leisure activities; and the other one is a cybercentre, situated in C/ Joan Miró 43 (Palma), meeting point of ciberjove.com, where there will be computers with Internet connection, workshops, contests, information about alternative leisure, etc.

Coinciding with the opening of the cybercentre and the web page, Ciberjove.com has organised a free web design workshop, specialising in the the development of personal web pages about alternative leisure activities.
