As a consequence of the recently held municipal elections, last Saturday
the town councils were constituted in 52 of the 53 municipalities on Mallorca.
The exception was Soller that will not be constituted until July 4, due
to the presentation of an electoral appeal. The Partido Popular obtained
26 mayors, that will become 27 when Soller Council is constituted. UM is
situated as the second political municipal force with 8 mayors and the
PSOE and PSM have 6 mayors each. Finally there will also be 6 independent
mayors.

Alaró: Miquel Deyà (PSOE) supported by UM.
Alcúdia: Miquel Ferrer (UM) supported by PSOE.
Algaida: Jaume Jaume (PSOE) supported by PSM and UM.
Andratx: Eugenio Hidalgo (ALA) supported by PP.
Ariany: Antoni Pascual (UM) with absolute majority.
Artà: Margalida Tous (Independents d'Artà) will
govern in minority supported by EU-EV.
Banyalbufar: Mateo Ferrá (UM) supported by PP and
the Agrupació d'electors del Port des Canonge.
Binissalem: Miquel Nadal (PSOE) with absolute majority.
Búger: Manuel Patiño (UM) supported by PSM.

Campanet: Fransec Aguiló (PSM) with absolute majority.

Capdepera: Joan Ferrer (PP) will govern in minority supported
by Es Grup.
Consell: Antoni Amengual (IdeCu) will be the mayor the first
two years and Arnau Ramis (PSM) the following two, according to the pact
signed by IdeCu, PSM, PSOE and UM.
Costitx: Maria Antònia Munar (UM) with absolute majority.
Deià: Jaume Crespí (PP) with absolute majority.
Escorca: Antoni Gómez (PP) with absolute majority.
Esporles: Jaume Pou (PP) will govern in minority supported by
UM.

presented by the PSOE against the results obtained by PSM. The decision
of the appeal will not affect the pact between PP and UM and Carlos Simarro
will be chosen mayor of Soller.
Son Servera: Damià Ripoll (PP) with absolute majority.
Valldemossa: Joan Muntaner (PP) supported by the Grup Independents
de Valldemossa.
Vilafranca de Bonany: Jaume Sansó (PSM) with absolute
