The Town Councils of Mallorca were constituted

As a consequence of the recently held municipal elections, last Saturday the town councils were constituted in 52 of the 53 municipalities on Mallorca.  The exception was Soller that will not be constituted until July 4, due to the presentation of an electoral appeal. The Partido Popular obtained 26 mayors, that will become 27 when Soller Council is constituted. UM is situated as the second political municipal force with 8 mayors and the PSOE and PSM have 6 mayors each.  Finally there will also be 6 independent mayors.

Relation of mayors of the municipalities of Mallorca:

Alaró:  Miquel Deyà (PSOE) supported by UM.

Alcúdia: Miquel Ferrer (UM) supported by PSOE.

Algaida: Jaume Jaume (PSOE) supported by PSM and UM.

Andratx: Eugenio Hidalgo (ALA)  supported by PP.

Ariany: Antoni Pascual (UM) with absolute majority.

Artà: Margalida Tous (Independents d'Artà) will govern in minority  supported by EU-EV.

Banyalbufar: Mateo Ferrá (UM)  supported by PP and the Agrupació d'electors del Port des Canonge.

Binissalem: Miquel Nadal (PSOE) with absolute majority.

Búger: Manuel Patiño (UM) supported by PSM.

Bunyola: Maria Cabot (Entesa d'Independents) supported by PSOE and PSM. The UM councillor also voted in favour but will not form part of the municipal government.

Calvià: Carlos Delgado (PP) supported by UM.

Campanet: Fransec Aguiló (PSM) with absolute majority.

Campos: Andreu Prohens (PP) with absolute majority.

Capdepera: Joan Ferrer (PP) will govern in minority supported by Es Grup.

Consell: Antoni Amengual (IdeCu) will be the mayor the first two years and Arnau Ramis (PSM) the following two, according to the pact signed by IdeCu, PSM, PSOE and UM.

Costitx: Maria Antònia Munar (UM) with absolute majority.

Deià: Jaume Crespí (PP) with absolute majority.

Escorca: Antoni Gómez (PP) with absolute majority.

Esporles: Jaume Pou (PP) will govern in minority supported by UM.

Estellencs: Bartomeu Jover (PP) with absolute majority.

Felanitx: Catalina Soler (PP) with absolute majority.

Fornalutx: Joan Albertí (PP) supported by UM.

Inca: Pere Rotger (PP) with absolute majority.

Lloret: Joan Jaume (PP) with absolute majority.

Lloseta: Bernat Coll (PSOE) with absolute majority.

Llubí: Tomàs Campaner (PP) with absolute majority.

Llucmajor: Lluc Tomàs (PP) with absolute majority.

Manacor: Antoni Pastor (PP) supported by the Agrupació Independent de Portocristo.

Mancor de la Vall: Bernadí Coll (PP) with absolute majority.

Maria de la Salut: Martí Ferriol (PSOE) will govern in minority on being the most voted list.

Marratxí: Miquel Bestard (Independientes de Marratxí) supported by PP.

Montuïri: Biel Matas (PP) with absolute majority.

Muro: Pau Mateu (PSM) supported by PSOE and UM.

Palma: Catalina Cirer (PP) with absolute majority.

Petra: Joan Font (PSM) with absolute majority.

Pollença: Joan Cerdà (UM-UNPI) will be the mayor the first three years and Tomeu Cifre (PP-UMP) will be the mayor the last year, according to the pact between UM and PP.

Porreres: Joan Sastre (UM) with absolute majority.

Puigpunyent: Juan Ferrà (PSOE) with absolute majority.

Sa Pobla: Jaume Font (PP) with absolute majority.

Sant Joan: Joan Matas (PP) with absolute majority.

Sant Llorenç: Mateu Puigròs (Grup Independent de Son Carrió) will govern in minority on being the most voted list.

Santa Eugènia: Mateu Crespí (PSM) with absolute majority.

Santa Margalida: Antoni del Olmo (PP) supported by Can Picafort Unit.

Santa Maria del Camí: Rosa Vich (PSM) with absolute majority.

Santanyí: Miquel Vidal (PP) with absolute majority.

Selva: Joan Rotger (PP) with absolute majority.

Sencelles: Antoni Ferrer (PP) with absolute majority.

Ses Salines: Sebastià Vidal (PP) supported by UM.

Sineu: Josep Oliver (UM) will be the mayor the first two years and Josep Oliver (PP) the following two according to the agreement between UM and PP.

Sóller: Carlos Simarro (PP) supported by UM. This town council will not be constituted until July 4 due to an electoral appeal presented by the PSOE against the results obtained by PSM.  The decision of the appeal will not affect the pact between PP and UM and Carlos Simarro will be chosen mayor of Soller.

Son Servera: Damià Ripoll (PP) with absolute majority.

Valldemossa: Joan Muntaner (PP) supported by the Grup Independents de Valldemossa.

Vilafranca de Bonany: Jaume Sansó (PSM) with absolute majority.
