Festival of Pollença at the Cloister of Sant Domingo

The 42nd edition of the prestigious Festival de Pollença started on Saturday, July 5, at the Cloister of Sant Domingo in Pollença and will continue for two months, until August 30. The Festival of Pollença was created in 1962 by the distinguished violinist Philip Newman sponsored by the Pollença Town Council. After his death, the present artistic director, Professor Eugen Prokop, took over, and for some years now, the Festival has been a full member of the Association Européenne des Festivals.

The programme for this year includes 11 exceptional concerts and once again will have the participation of well known prestigious international artists.
