International Folk Show

Between July 21 and 27, the Soller valley will host the XXIII Mostra Internacional Folklòrica, best known as "sa Mostra". This year this prestigious folk festival, founded in 1980 by the group Aires Sollerics, will have the participation of the groups Wahana Cipta (Indonesia), Tahoungan (Togo), Tierra y Cosecha (Costa Rica), Sarandeiros (Brazil), Lukiol Neftogim (Bulgaria), D'Roaga Buam Ismaning (Germany), Duguna Folklore Taldea (Pamplona) and Aires Sollerics (Sóller).

On Tuesday 22 at 9.30 p.m. in the Plaça Constitució (where most of the activities will take place) the XXI Festival will open with the performances of all the participating groups. The programme of the Festival also includes performances in Muro, Alcúdia and Deià (July 23); in Palma (July 24) and in Maria de la Salut, Fornalutx and Algaida (July 25).

The closing ceremony will take place on July 27 at 6.30 p.m., in the Plaça Constitució in Soller, and will also have the participation of all the groups involved in the Festival.
