"Mara", the latest production by the company, Res de Res, will premiere
on Saturday, July 12 at 10 p.m. at the
Teatre
d'Artà. On Sunday 13, there will be another performance at the
same time.
This is a theatrical production aimed at all publics, with acrobats,
balancing, ropes and a spectacular net. Starting from the arrival
of a character on the quay, five actors suggest an emotional trip via a
world of poetic atmosphere with strong visual charge. Solitude, incommuniction
and desires converge in this story where the spectator's imagination plays
an important part.
A play written and directed by Biel Jordà with the collaboration
of Franco di Francescantonio; interpreted by Marta Barceló, Clara
Matas, Andreu Raich, Borja Tous and Joan Manel Vadell; and coproduced by
the Fundació Teatre Principal with the Govern de les Illes Balears,
the Teatre d'Artà, the Teatre Zorrilla, Res de Res i En Blanc, with
the collaboration of the Fundació Sa Nostra, the Departament de
Cultura of the Consell de Mallorca, Ministerio de Educación, Cultura
y Deporte and A cel obert.
