The traditional cycle of autumn fairs continues its course and this
week there will be fairs in Campos, Santanyí, Consell, Felanitx
and Inca. All dedicated to farming works, handicrafts... but each of them
with its own singularities.
The programme of activities of the fair in
Campos,
which can be found in the web of the Town Council, began last week, but
the most important events will take place on Thursday 16 ("Fira pagesa"),
Friday 17 ("Firó nocturn pagès") and on Saturday 18 ("Mercadet
pagès").
The fair in
Santanyí
will take place on Saturday, October 18, and will feature farming products,
animals, handicrafts and other goods.
The fair in
Consell will be
held on Sunday 19 and will be dedicated to wine, as you can read
in this
piece
of news.
On Sunday, according to the web of the Town Council of
Felanitx,
the "Fira des Pebre Bord" will be held. This fair conserves the name that
it had when it was used by the local families to buy the "pebre bord" that
they would later use to make "sobrassada".
And finally,
Inca also celebrates
a fair next Sunday, featuring farming goods, handicrafts and food. This
is this first fair of the Inca autumn series, that ends with the popular
Dijous Bo, in November.
