The Ibizan group
Stock de Rock,
known for their numerous performances in the Pitiüses and in the last
edition of the
Trobada
de Músics per la Llengua or in the past
Fiestas
de San Agustí, has recorded their first CD called "Figa de Pic".
Produced by
Blau, the new CD includes
10 pop-rock songs written by the group with a view to making their enthusiasm
for music and love of their homeland catching. The band has wanted to make
it clear that they are banking on interculture and solidarity and will
destine 2 euros from the sale of each CD to the fight against AIDS with
the collaboration of the entity
ALAS.
The components of Stock de Rock are Jaume Navas (guitar), Edu "Halfneck"
Mayol (drums), Darwin Chuquirima (keyboard and vocals) and Ramon Mayol
(bass and vocals).
The new record will be presented next Thursday, October 16 in a press
conference given by Stock de Rock at
Xocolat
Centre in Palma.
