The
Espai
Ramon Llull in Palma is housing until January 15 the itinerant
exhibition "Art Emergent a les Illes Balears II" produced by the
Projecte
Llevant, produced by the Projecte Llevant, which is a cultural
initiative by the Govern de les Illes
Balears,
Consell de Mallorca, Sa Nostra, Espai Mallorca de Barcelona and the
town halls of Manacor, Artà, Capdepera, Calvià, Felanitx,
Marratxí,
Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, Sa Pobla, Porreres, Santanyí,
Inca and Binissalem, dedicated to promote the creative work by young
artists from the Balearics.
Afther the great success of the
first
edition held last year, in this second exhibition the following
artist will participate: Jaume Canet (Felanitx, 1966),
Carles
Moll (Maó, Menorca, 1969), Martí Antoni Monjo (Maria de
la
Salut, 1972) & Ana Camuñas (Villafranca de los Caballeros,
Toledo,
1975), Aina Perelló (Pollença, 1976), Blanca
Pérez-Portabella
(Barcelona, 1973), Eliana Perinat (París, 1965), Joan M. Arrom
Sasai
(Palma, 1970), Fabian Chalekamp (Palma, 1964), Joan Vallespir (Inca,
1969) and Rafel Perelló (Manacor, 1963).
The exhibition was first presented in the Torre dels Enagistes de
Manacor and it will also reach the Auditòrium Sa Màniga
in Cala Millor, the exhibition hall of the Calvià Town Hall, The
Municipal House of Felanitx, S'Escorxador in Marratxí,
Na Batlessa in Artà, Can Creu d'Inca in Capdepera, Espai
Mallorca in Barcelona, Museu d'Art Contemporani in Sa Pobla, Can Jaume
Antoni in
Santanyí, Can Gelabert in Binissalem, Sa Quartera in Inca, Museu
de Porreres, Museu d'Art Contemporani d'Eivissa and Museu de Menorca in
Maó.
