Albert Pla: Songs about love and drugs

The Catalan singer-composer Albert Pla, one of the most controversial and innovative artists in the present musical panorama, arrives on Mallorca with his latest show "Cançons d'amor i droga", dedicated to the poet, artist and composer, Pepe Sales (1954-1994). The date is next Wednesday, February 18 at 9 p.m. at the Teatre d'Artà.

"Cançons d'amor i droga", that is also the title of his latest CD, is an intimate and visceral show with much strength, that combines music and theatre. Directed by Àlex Rigola and accompanied by the DJ, Judit Farrés, Pla interprets the work by Sales, transmitting this singular artist's passion and fears, considering that he died nine years ago of AIDS.
