Concerts in Banyalbufar

The programme begins this month and continues until October.

On June 26, at 9 p.m., in the parish church of Banyalbufar, there will be the first concert of the series "Concerts a Banyalbufar" that is held every summer, organised by the Associació Cultural Bany-Al-Bahar.

This first concert, called "Gales Líriques a Mallorca", will be conducted by Rafael Nadal and will star soloists Sylvia Corbacho and Pedro Granados.

The series of concerts continues until October with the following programme:

26/06/2004 - Gales Líriques a Mallorca (orchestra and soloists). Conductor: Rafael Nadal. Solistas: Sylvia Corbacho, Pedro Granados

17/07/2004 - Psicofonies Quintet de Vent (Flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and fagot). Works by D. Shostakovich, Danzi, N. Carter

07/08/2004 - Trio Ratisbona Piano (violoncello and violin). Works by J. Haydn, J. Massenet, A. Dvoràk

18/09/2004 - Marta Ambròs, Francesc Aguiló (piano and contrabass). Obras de J. Brahms, S. Koussevitski, M. Ravel

02/10/2004 - De Guitarres, chamber ensemble from Professional Conservatory of Palma. Works by W.A.Mozart, M. Ravel, F. Farkas

23/10/2004 - Bartomeu Mut, (Baroque organ of the XVII century). Works by Gabrielli, Frescobaldi, Correa de Arauxo

All the performances will take place in the church as from 9 p.m.
