International Jazz Festival in Sa Pobla

Performances by Roy Hargrove, Jerry González, Charles Lloyd and Agustí Fernández.

The 10è Festival Internacional de Jazz de sa Pobla will be held from August 2 to 25. The Festival features four concerts with free entrance that will take place at 10.30 p.m. in the Plaça Major of the town.

Trumpetist and composer Roy Hargrove and the band RH Factor will perform on Monday, August 2. Trumpetist Jerry González and his band, will play on Tuesday, August 10. The Charles Lloyd Quartet will perform on Tuesday, August 17. And finally, on Wednesday, August 25, the quartet of the Mallorcan pianist Agustí Fernández will close the festival.

Coinciding with the Festival, the exhibition hall "Es Cavallets" will present from August 2 to 27 an exhibition by Guillermo de la Fuente, photographer who has taken photos of most of the jazz musicians that have visited Mallorca.
