Jazz Voyeur Festival

The concerts will end on August 11.

Today, Tuesday, July 13, in the Casino de Mallorca, the central week of the Jazz Voyeur Festival begins, with the performance by pianist and composer McCoy Tyner. Until Sunday, July 18, every day at 10 p.m. there will be a concert by different artists. The Festival will continue on Wednesday, July 21, with a concert by Chachao López (contrabass), accompanied by the twelve musicians of the Gran Orquesta Cubana. Finally, on August 11, there will be the closing concert by singer Ute Lemper.

This first edition of the Festival, organised by Pro Arts del Món and Gerardo Cañellas, began in June with a performance by saxofonist Lee Konitz. Gerardo Cañellas, photography and jazz lover, presented last year in the Centre de Cultura Sa Nostra de Palma the exhibition called "Jazz Voyeur, the visual experience".
