New record by Al-Mayurqa

The Presentation will take place in the Casa Museu Llorenç Villalonga.

"En coherència", the fifth record by Al-Mayurqa, will be presented next Saturday, July 17th, at 9 p.m., in the Casa Museu Llorenç Villalonga in Binissalem. Just like the ancient troubadours and jugglers, the songs by these music band feature compromising subjects from a critical and ironical point of view, although the also play more sensual and happy songs.

Al-Mayurqa was born ten years ago with the aim of dignifying and modernising the Mallorcan traditional music through a present-day approach to the lyrics and music that define us a group. In 1995 they recorded "Projecte Roig", their first CD, followed by "De poetes i altres codolades" (1997), "Anem de gresca" (1998) and "Fent camí" (2001). The new recod, the same as the previous ones, has been produced by Ona Digital.
