14 poets in the Mediterranean Poetry Festival

The central event will take place on Friday, May 20, in the patio of the Misericòrdia.

On May 19, 20 and 21, the seventh edition of the "Festival de Poesia de la Mediterrània" will be held, organised by the Fundació Casa Museu Llorenç Villalonga and directed by Biel Mesquida. The central event of the Festival will take place in the patio of the Misericòrdia Cultural Centre, in Palma, on Friday, May 20, at 9 p.m.

Fourteen poets from different cultures will participate in the meeting: David Castillo, Francesc Garriga, Josep Lluís Aguiló, Miquel Cardell and Vicent Alonso, in Catalan; Larbi El Harti and Vicente Gallego, in Spanish; Girgis Shokry, Hassan Najmi and Zuhair Abu Shayeb, in Arabic; Ghjacumu Thiers, in Corsican; Moshe Benarroch, in Hebrew; Nathalie Quintane, in French; and Xènia Dyakoneva, in Russian.
