The debt to the victims of the Civil War and Franco's rule

Amnesty demands the preservation of the collective memory.

The Spanish Section of Amnesty International has presented the report "Spain: the pending debt to the victims of the Civil War and Franco's rule". The report details the war crimes or crimes against humanity committed during Spain's 1936-1939 Civil War and under Franco's rule. Amnesty International ends the report demanding the current government the adoption of measures to ensure the preservation of the collective memory about the crimes of the past and to guarantee victims' right to find the truth, justice and repair.
