Improving the hotel industry

Agreement between Sa Nostra and the Hotel Technological Institute.

The president of Sa Nostra, Llorenç Huguet, and the president of the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH), José G. Díaz Montañés, have signed an agreement aimed at promoting scientific, technological and financial activities to improve the Balearic hotel industry. The agreement includes the development by the Centre de Recerca Econòmica (CRE) of a report about the efficiency of the hotel sector and the lecture "The Marketing Strategies for differentiation of the hotel sector; the new tendencies and preferences of the tourists".

The signature of the agreement was attended by the vice president of Sa Nostra, Joan Morell, the general director of Sa Nostra, Pere Batle, the general director of the ITH, M. del Mar de Miguel, the president of the Menorca Hotel Association, Aina Ventura, and the president of the Mallorca Hotel Federation, Pere Cañellas.
