The new technologies make a fusion with theatre and dance.
The Au Ments company will present in December the show "Asteroid 9900, doctor iluminatus" at the Teatre de Capdepera (on the 2nd), at the Teatre Escčnic in Campos (on the 11th) and at the Teatre de Lloseta (from the 13th to the 25th).
"Asteroid 9900, doctor iluminatus" is a show where new technologies make a fusion with theatre and dance in order to show, in a contemporary perspective, the figure of the mystic Ramon Llull, untiring traveller, who sacrificed his life to make a great project: to unify religious beliefs. Ramon Llull is one of the most universal persons of our culture, with an enormous literary production (265 works catalogued). Through his very advanced mind he has become a combinatory art's pioneer and a computings predecessor.
The premier of the show took place in March at the Teatre de Vilafranca and in September it was presented at the Fira de Teatre de Tŕrrega, coproduced by the Au Ments company and the Fundació Teatre Principal. The direction, choreography and screenplay is by Tomeu Gomila and the interpreters are Xim Vidal, Jordi Mas, Tomeu Gomila, Andrea Cruz. The paintings and drawings in video are by Rafel Joan, video edition is by Roberto Rodríguez, video recording and photos by Jaume Caldentey, sound space by Kiko Barrenengoa and Xema Gonzalez, scenic space by Andrea Cruz and Tomeu Gomila, lighting and graphics by Manu Martínez and costumes by Carolina Cruz and Andrea Cruz.
The title of the show makes reference to the asteroid called "9900 Ramon Llull", discovered in 1997 by Manolo Blasco from the Observatori Astronňmic de Mallorca.
