Mallorca Verda is a project to put new vigour into rural areas, initiated by the Unió de Pagesos de Mallorca and the Associació per a la Defensa de Mallorca, the object being to avoid the massive sale of our territory, by making the rural heritage cost effective, instead of the current low or nil productivity. Mallorca Verda offers a network of rural houses in the Pla de Mallorca (centre) integrated into a plan of accommodation and services aimed at the public, user of green tourism. The organisation's web includes full information and photographs of the towns in this area and of the houses they offer: Ca'n Fideu, Son Cerdà, Ca'n Guillardet, Sa Cabana Vella, Es Pont Setrí, Ca'n Meca, Ca Na Xiva, Ca'n Palaci, Sa Rota, Ca'n Miquel, Ca Na Maria Nota, Cals de s'Almudaina and Ca'n Soldadet.
