On January 8, the Board of the CONFEDERACIÓN ESTATAL DE TEATRO AMATEUR (CETA), met at the well
known Hotel San Diego in Arenal to hold its three monthly meeting (normally held in Madrid) and at the same time to visit the
theatres in Llucmajor, Felanitx, Binissalem, Palma and Marratxí which will be the venues of the 1st DRAMA FESTIVAL next April
14, 15 and 16. Over 400 people from the international world of theatre are expected to attend together with personalities of the
International Association of Amateur Dramatics (CIFTA) and the International Confederation of Latin Languages (CIFTA). For three
days, theatrical lovers will be able to enjoy seven productions by the groups chosen by the respective Federations of the whole of
Spain and one international group chosen by the AITA. The Balearic Federation of Amateur Dramatics will be in charge of the
organisation and will have the support of numerous public and private institutions.
