Pau: drawings at the comic's service

Pau, simply that, is a Mallorcan dedicated to the production of comics. In 1993 he started to publish in the Diario de Mallorca the section "Las cansiones de Ossifar" and later "El oriquen de todas las cosas", every week for five years, and the daily strip "Pau per tots", with over 1000 jokes about updates and politics. In 1998, in need of a change of surroundings, he gave up his collaboration with the press and went for a while to Kazajstan.

He has participated with his stories in the creation of different fanzines: "Plomí corcat", a fanzine of comics published in Palma between 1988 and 1992, and when this finished, he carried out the fanzines "Tinta escampada" (1992) and "Grunt" (1994). In 1995, together with Xabi Uriz and Dani Martín he formed the group Cigomática, dedicated to eating fried eggs and drawing comics, setting up the fanzine Escápula comics. In 1998, the editorial Under Comic published "Escápula", a compilation of the stories by Pau in the fanzine Escápula comics, that was presented at the "Saló del còmic de Barcelona".

In 1997 and 1999 he was one of the guests at the "Salón internacional del cómic del Principado de Asturias", organised by the magazine El Wendigo.

He is living at present on the island of Escápula, where he continues to draw the saga about Atlas and Axis and some other 'Animalada'!
