II Mediterranean Film and Documentary Contest

The Visual Area of the ACA Foundation, based in Búger, and the Cultural and Youth Department of the Mallorcan Council are organising the II Mediterranean Film and Documentary Contest this year, with the support of the Balearic Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry for New Technologies, plus the Town Councils of Inca and Pollença, together with the collaboration of TVE, Vins Armero Adrover and Cava Casteller.

The contest is aimed at independent directors who live in any Mediterranean coastal country, but would also accept works by authors of other nationalities, as long as the topic is clearly Mediterranean. The selected works will form part of the official catalogue of the contest and will be projected in free public sessions during June in Palma, Inca, Pollença and Búger. These projections will be complemented by round tables and debates with well known personalities in the audiovisual field.
