The
Teatre Principal in Palma will present next week the opera Tosca, by G. Puccini, as part of the XIV Opera Season
of the Teatre Principal. Tosca is an opera that has all the best ingredients, music, soloists, choirs, but above all a great work for
voices. Over the years the memory of Maria Callas in the part of Tosca, Miguel Fleta as Cavaradossi and Tito Gobbi as the Baron
Scarpia, continues. On this occasion, these characters will be represented by Judith Borràs, Carlos Moreno and Luis Gaeta,
accompanied by Miguel Sola in the part of Sacristano, Josep Pieras as Angelotti, Josep Ma. Moreno as Spoletta, Jovan Milosevski
as Sciarrone, Maia Planas as Pastor and Jaume Salvà as Carceriere. The libreto is by Giocosa and Illica, the orchestra conducted
by Guiseppe Giuliano and the stage direction by Kamal Khan.
There will be three performances: Wednesday 29 and Friday 31, Sunday April 2 at 8 p.m.
