"II Poetry Festival of the Mediterranean"

The coming May 3, at 9 p.m. at the Teatre Principal there will be the "II Poetry Festival of the Mediterranean". In this second edition --organised by the Mallorcan Council, UIB, the Generalitat de Catalunya, The Balearic Government and the Teatre Principal-- poets of different Mediterranean regions will recite their verbal music. In this way will will be able to know the diversity of alphabets, sounds, forms, colours and feelings that are the network of identity and miscegenation, of this cultural mosaic that we on Mallorca form part of.

The festival is directed by Biel Mesquida and the recitations will be by Montserrat Abelló, Margarida Ballester, Biagio Cepollaro, Thanasis Jatsopulos, José Hierro, Aurora Luque, Bernard Manciet, Anna Montero, Francesc Parcerisas, Joan Perucho, Yadollah Royaï, Cristóbal Serra and Michal Snunit.
