IBEX Nuevo Mercado is the name of the new Spanish stock market for technological firms, promoted by the four Spanish stock
markets, that have started the rates for ten companies: IB-Mei, Indra, Zeltia, Abengoa, Amadeus, Amper, Befesa, Radiotrónica, TPI
and Terra, that have a group capital of 6.8 billion pesetas.
According to
Cinco Días, the president of the
Bolsa de Madrid, Antonio Zoido, anounced that another five technology firms will be
incorporated in the next few weeks into the New Market: Meta 4, Jazztel, Ya.com, Lanetro and Ono.
Amongst the firms who are preparing for the new market, is
ONO, the concessionary firm for fibre optic cable in Valencia, Mallorca
and other parts of Spain.
