All ready for the "Prize Web 2000"

Today the voting and opinion time starts to choose the winning web of the Prize Web 2000. MallorcaWeb has organised for the first time this contest with a view to promoting the contents related to the culture and economy of the island on Internet.

There has been a good participation both by the number of contestants and the quality of the webs presented. The fifteen competitors are: 9D-La Novena Dimensió AGIB ei! vine de festa Excursionismo por Mallorca Artà Guide Mallorca Guide Highlander Homo Erectus LaVila.org MASM Mallorcan Folk Music Palma de Noche SPAAIS Fernando Nadal's Web Site WebVerd The poll to decide the winner of Prize WEB 2000 will end on May 14. Votes and opinions on the different participating webs can be carried out from this page.

The prize for the best 2000 web comprises the purchase of one's own domain for the winning web, the hosting of the web with its own domain - free for life - on MallorcaWeb and 50.000 pesetas for the winner, if an individual or business, or 100,000 pesetas if the prize is won by an association, NGO, school, institute, university department or any other nonlucrative entity.
