Dry stone: paths, huts, terraces

FODESMA has just published on Internet a web dedicated to dry stone, with full information about the catalogue process, analysis and rehabilitation of paths, huts, terraces... The web also includes details about the work carried out by the Escola de Margers (Terrace Wall School) and other specific programmes, particularly the rehabilitation of the old paths on the Serra de Tramuntana, together with different Town Councils of the Island and the Excursionist Group of Mallorca; and the creation of the Dry Stone Route, a ramblers' route that will go over the northern part of the island via the most emblematic areas connected to dry stone.

FODESMA is an organisation with direct administration, dependent on the area of Economic and Occupational Promotion of the Mallorcan Council, created in 1989 with the aim of contributing to the economic and social development of Mallorca via the administration of the heritage and natural media, via training and occupational projects.
