Sant Joan 2000 at the Pilar i Joan Miró Foundation

The Pilar i Joan Miró Foundation is preparing, for next June 24, a wide programme of activities for all the family, to celebrate the artist's saint's day. The day of open doors, that will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., includes different plastic experimental workshops, games, theatre, music, animation and commented visits:

- Aperitif of objects. A 3D workshop. By Jordi Pallarés, promotor of the artistic fortnight: "This summer become an artist in 15 days, July 2000"
- Snippets of colour. Invent your painting like a collage. By Teresa Matas.

- Invent your character, as from the constant idea of transformation with the help of a photocopier. By Mónica Fuster.
- Painting signs and colours. Collective creation of a long mural that will be exhibited in the gardens of the Foundation. By Ángel Pascual.

- Cardboard giants. Construction of monumental sculptures that will be exhibited in the gardens of the Foundation. By Alejandra Peña.
- Get to know the Pilar i Joan Miró Foundation: commented visit to the artist's workshops (Sert, Son Boter and graphic workshops), The Moneo building, the temporary exhibitions and the gardens with the sculpture and monumental work.
